JIM CARLSON´S DODGE RAM
BREAKING THE CYCLE
There are people who love cars, so much that they dedicate their lives to them
Men like Jim Carlson are proof of that, considering he has his own modification workshop. Jim specializes in Ford’s muscle trucks, however, now he wanted to do something different.
He wanted to give life to his silver gray Ram 1500 as a personal challenge. His stickers made him think of challenging the ideology of a luxury van, returning the essence of rudeness to the car and recalling the philosophy of challenging races.
The first thing he did was remove the chrome grill and replaced it with a mesh metal in black, followed gearing the truck up with Off-Road suspension, and gigantic Cooper all-terrain tires mounted on matte black Rockstar wheels. But there was something missing.
Later on, Jim came across Airdesign and found that they had a body kit, specifically designed for his Ram 1500. Something he really liked about the kit was the front spoiler which was matte black, predominately blocking the biggest part of the original chrome but just the details to highlight the piece.
The integrated DRL LED lights put angles in the aluminum-colored basses to give that country look that he was looking for. An air intake in the chest complements the strength of the design, and on the sides, the door panels matched the corners nicely to combine with the new suspension. In the back of the truck, trim along with the matte black spoiler achieved a design that was rough and rural but at the same time technological and functional.
