RAM 1500 SPORT KEYSTONE
When the FCA announced that RAM would branch off and become an independent company, it sent shockwaves of skepticism. Some thought it was a good starting point for more and better products, others thought splitting from Dodge would reduce its performance and characteristics, but they couldn’t have been more wrong.
We decided to give it a chance to see just what the 1500 had to offer after the split up. In its sport mode, it has some brutal benefits worthy of a muscle car, carrying a HEMI V8 5.6 engine pushing almost 400 horsepower. Not to mention the 4x4 traction, six speeds, and a huge payload space in its box with a beautiful red color that reminded us of the STR8 that came out about a decade ago.
When we modified it, we made sure to keep in mind that it had to be great and wild like its ancestor, something to revive our and many more memories, imposing respect to each mile.
And we’re proud to say that we’ve accomplished just that. The RAM 1500 sport was colored with a shiny black that accentuated its rudeness, along with the installation of Airdesign’s body kit finished the truck off perfectly, completely changing its appearance. Combining matte black with aluminum tones, a spoiler, and even DRL lights, left a very nice finish. It left us very impressed. It did not look like a successor at all but rather a tribute to the ones before it, a redemption to the surname RAM.
